Surfing is all about gliding, carried along by the energy of a wave, and He’enalu (from the Hawaiian \u2018he’e\u2019 – the glide and \u2018nalu\u2019 – the wave) sums up the spirit of this ancient practice.<\/p>\n

Olivier set up the school in 2008 to pass on his passion, experience and enthusiasm. For him, being a surf instructor is more than just a profession – it’s a real passion. Keeping the school on a human scale allows him to get to know his students better and make it easier to follow them over several years. They all feel part of the same big family.<\/p>\n

In summer, the school gives lessons at Kermabec beach in Tr\u00e9guennec and at the neighbouring spot to the north of the Etang de Trunvel, at Kerbinigou beach in Tr\u00e9ogat.<\/p>\n

Itinerant in the off-season, he offers his pupils the chance to discover the major spots in the Bay of Audierne in complete safety and to surf the best waves of the day.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

  • <\/i>Lessons in French, English and SpanishAt the start of each session, we talk about the day’s surf conditions and the specific characteristics of the spot, before giving a brief introduction to bodysurfing and a systematic reminder of safety instructions. Then it’s off to hit the waves and enjoy the ride!\n

    Explanations on the sand alternate with exercises in the water and personalised feedback, all in good humour. At all times, the instructor is there to answer your questions, encourage you and enable you to progress at your own pace thanks to an individual and personalised approach.<\/p>\n

    The aim is then to achieve your first \u2018take-off\u2019 (paddle, steer and right yourself) in the foam.<\/p>\n

    We pay particular attention to your wishes so that we can help you achieve your goals. These can range from simply discovering the activity, to perfecting it (working on speed, manoeuvres, style, etc.) or simply having a good time in the ocean.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    A \u2018free surfer\u2019 at heart, Olivier began competing in longboarding at departmental, regional and then national level. He won the Finist\u00e8re vice-championship in 2002 and the Bretagne vice-championship in 2003 and 2004 in longboard.<\/p>\n

    After obtaining a postgraduate diploma (DESS) in Maritime Law, from 2001 to 2005 he travelled the globe, surfing almost all the oceans (Mexico, Ireland, England, France, Spain, Portugal, Madeira, the Canaries, Morocco, Mauritius and Reunion Island, Indonesia, Peru, Martinique and Guadeloupe).<\/p>\n

    Returning to Brittany in 2006, he decided to make his dream come true by turning his passion into his profession.<\/p>\n

    My wish was to reconcile my passion and professional activity where I have my roots, while at the same time meeting a real demand for board sports. I’ve had a real passion for surfing ever since I first set foot on a board, and I naturally wanted to pass on this enthusiasm to my students.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n
